CORE Women was born from one woman's healing — and it belongs to every woman who's ever wondered if she was too broken, too far gone, or too much.
We exist for one reason: women walking free. In their identity. In their healing. In their calling.

Teresa Alvarado is not just a pastor — she is a woman who has lived the message she carries. From a childhood marked by trauma and abuse, she discovered that God's love was not a concept to be learned but an encounter to be experienced.
That encounter changed everything. Teresa found healing, purpose, and identity in Christ — and out of that healing, a vision was born: a community where every woman could find the same freedom she had found.
Today, Teresa leads CORE Women International as its founder and lead pastor, bringing her message of identity, healing, and transformation to women across the United States and internationally — from Southern California conference stages to mission fields in Costa Rica and beyond.
Her teaching is grounded in one conviction: the root of every struggle a woman faces is an identity wound. And the answer to every identity wound is an encounter with the God who made her.

I flew in from Texas not knowing what to expect. I left knowing exactly who I am. This wasn't just a conference — it was an encounter.
Pastor Teresa's teaching on identity broke something off of me that I had been carrying for 20 years. I left that altar a different woman.
